Rene Yap

Rene is a Senior Associate of the firm who specializes in Employment Law and Family Law. She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London, completed her pupillage at Skrine, and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July 2020.

With a practical and client-focused approach, she provides effective legal advice and representation across a broad range of matters. Rene is responsive, efficient, and outcome-driven, consistently working to achieve strategic solutions for her clients.

As an Employment Lawyer, Rene has represented both claimants and companies in the Industrial Court as well as in the civil courts, enabling her to offer well-rounded advice that takes into account the perspectives of all parties involved. She is skilled at resolving disputes efficiently and has secured numerous favourable settlements for her clients.

In her Family Law practice, Rene has represented clients in divorce matters involving child custody, maintenance, and the division of matrimonial assets. She is also experienced in preparing pre-nuptial, post-nuptial, and separation agreements. Rene takes a pragmatic approach to family law matters, ensuring her clients receive informed guidance throughout the process. She is known for her ability to address both the legal and emotional complexities often involved in matrimonial disputes.
